What is "0 MEP" and how do I check?

Your BlackBerry handset can only accept a certain number of unlock attempts. Each time an incorrect code is tried, it depletes the attempts remaining.

It is VERY IMPORTANT to check the MEP attempts remaining before you order the unlock code.

How to check my MEP attempts remaining?

  • Follow the instructions at http://unlockmyberry.com/instructions until the MEP2 or MEPP2 step. If you’re screen looks similar to this one, you have 0 attempts remaining.

Alternatively, the screen may display NETWORK BLOCKED on the MEPD screen (as opposed to NETWORK ACTIVE).

In this case, the codes generated by our services will NOT work.

It is very important to check before you submit the order.
